New for this season, Hockey Manitoba is piloting the following projects:

- U11 Development Program
- U13 Development Program
- U15 Development Program

In addition to development programs in the 3 age groups above, there will be a Rural U13 AA league in which regional teams will play. Watch for more details on all of those opportunities in the near future.

'24/'25 Seasson Wrap Up

Virden Minor Hockey has so much to celebrate from the 2024-2025 season!  The dedication of our athletes, coaches, parents and volunteers created so many great experiences and reults for our teams:

- 195 kids registered/150 families (14 more than 2023/2024)
- 16 regular season teams (1 more than 2023/2024)
- 7 teams at provincials; 5 medals (3 gold, 2 bronze)
- 1 league champion; 4 league division winners, 1 rural toc champion
- MANY teams had tournament wins through the season!
