COACHING

All coaches must achieve “Trained” status in order to remain eligible for the remainder of the season. Individuals must complete the online modules delivered through Hockey University then fully attend & participate at a virtual coach clinic to achieve “Trained” status (formerly referred as “certified”).

The course you require to be “Trained” in is specific to the level you’re currently coaching.  Each course stream of training is designed to cover the pertinent learning & skills content appropriate for the level of athlete which you’ll currently be coaching.

In addition to your appropriate course stream outlined below, all coaches also require the Respect In Sport (RIS) certification (online).

*** The coaching certification deadline is  Friday December 1st, 2024.
